Our Service
Vehicles in Optimal Conditions
Every two years the entire fleet is replaced to guarantee our clients that
they will be driving the latest models in the market. A strict control in
the mechanical and maintenance process is followed by a deep cleaning
procedure before the car leaves our parking lot. Our main concern is to
satisfy even the highest expectations and offer only reliable vehicles to our
customers.
Safety & Security Systems
Most of our vehicles have the following security system installed to prevent theft:
Total Protection System:
A security system controlled by satellite. this system unlocks the doors in case the keys are accidentally locked inside. Also, in case of unauthorized use or theft, this system will allow us to stop the car and turn on both lights and alarm anywhere in the country.
Rental Information
Guarantees:
All vehicles must have a credit card guarantee in order to be delivered. You can use cards such as Visa, Master Card, and American Express. The guarantee covers the amount of the deductible in case of an accident
Insurance:
Unlike other countries, in Costa Rica, car rental insurance is required by law. We offer 3 insurance options.
1. Mandatory Basic Insurance - (Loss Damage Waiver LDW) included in our rates. Covers damages of the vehicle in case of accident and the customer is responsible for the deductible. Insurance does not cover you in case of any negligence if driving through sand, water, under the influence of alcohol or any drugs, and for violations of any condition of the rental agreement.
2. Liability - covers damages to third party property with a deductible of 20% of the damages. Injuries to 3rd parties are covered up to ˘1.000.000.00 (1 million colones) per person. In case of death, coverage is for up to ˘40.000.000.00 (40 million colones) per person with a max of ˘100.000.000 (100 million colones) per group of persons. Insurance does not cover in case of negligence if driving through sand, water, under the influence of alcohol or any drugs, and for violations of any condition of the rental agreement.
3. Special Protection - It allows the customer to waive any financial responsibility in case of an accident. Insurance does not cover roll over accidents without collision, total or partial theft, negligence if driving through sand, water, under the influence of alcohol or any drugs, and for violations of any of the conditions in the rental agreement.
